This November, Chores celebrates the launch of its 2026 Collection: The Girl and The Goose, a multidisciplinary tale weaving together elements of fashion, jewelry, ceramics, poetry, and woodworking, amongst other surprises.
Join us on Friday 11/13 for the Collection Launch Party, and Saturday 11/14-Sunday 11/15 for Exhibition Weekend Hours where guests can peruse the collection in an intimate setting, chat with our Chores artisans, and discover the heartfelt world that we’ve crafted together.
Join us for a series of three intimate Open Studio events with our 2026 Chores artisans that invite our community to preview the work to come, and to actively shape it with us.
Each event invites us into the studios of one of this year’s Chores artisans, highlighting a unique part of their practice and process. Attendees will be invited to participate in the process itself — preview early prototypes, practice craft skills, and actively participate in the refinement of each artisan’s work for this year’s Chores collection.

Following the collection launch on November 13th, the 2026 Chores Collection: The Girl and The Goose will be on display from Saturday 11/14 through Sunday 11/15 in a curated exhibition at Blue Pomelo Studio, highlighting the people and process that created it. During the 3rd and final installment of our Open Studio series, join four Chores artisans working in very different mediums — for an exclusive preview of the pieces they’ve created for this year’s collection, as well as a panel discussion centered on their unique crafts and material perspectives:

“Soft Hearts: Intuitive Stitching” is the second installment of our Open Studio series: join Chores artisans and textile artists Joy Mao and Helen Lin for an intimate preview of their textile work for this year’s collection alongside a guided workshop focused on hand-sewing skills for soft sculpture — over tea and mooncakes in celebration of Mid-Autumn Festival.
For this year’s Chores collection, Joy and Helen have collaborated on a series of hand-embroidered vintage chore coats incorporating intuitive beadwork and soft sculpture. During this workshop, Joy will share an overview of the process and techniques involved in developing this year’s chore coats. Helen will provide a glimpse into her soft sculpture practice, and lead a beginner-friendly workshop where participants will create their own textile “hearts” through a process grounded in tactility, material connection, and intuition.
"Anything Can Be A Lamp” is the first installment of our Open Studio series: join multidisciplinary artist and this year’s Chores Artisan-in-Residence, Echo Yun Chen, for an intimate preview of the prototypes she has developed over the last three months. Grab a refreshing treat at the shaved ice station and peruse the prototypes before casting your vote — to help Echo select the winning one to produce for this year’s upcoming collection.
